This high school level class will cover Genesis to Malachi. It will be taught on the foundation that scripture is inerrant and God-breathed. Students will be introduced to  basic Bible study methods and will be taught how to incorporate additional resources for their own studies. We will look at scripture from both historical and literary perspectives. We will follow a timeline of major events throughout the Old Testament. At times the New Testament will be referenced in order to discuss the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies. By the end of the semester your student will have knowledge of the Old Testament covenants, order of events, and basic knowledge of how to study scripture on their own. Heavy amounts of scripture reading will be required. My goal is to create a passion for Old Testament scripture and teach students how to apply it to their own lives. Minimum of 8 students.
