Description

Art is about discovery and FUN! Together will explore different styles and mediums based on the masters in art history. We will become familiar with some of the 7 basic elements of art and learn about art terminology and vocabulary during our creative process. We will be introduced to some of the greatest artist in history and learn about how their styles evolved. Then we will use what we’ve learned to create our own masterpiece!

What Will I Learn?

learn art terms and vocabulary
learn and expand on knowledge of basic elements of like line, shape, color, and form
become more confident in your own creative process
explore new mediums like pen, watercolor, and mixed media
intro to various art masters throughout history

Refund Policy

Semester/Year (15 or more classes) – 30 days prior to the start of a live class. There are no refunds if you withdraw from a class less than 30 days prior to the start of the class, or if you fail to attend. A processing fee of 20% will be retained on all cancelled classes unless extenuating circumstances arise and a request is made.

About the instructors

Ingrid Jones

Hi Students and Families, I'm so excited to create together! Art is all about discovery and should be so much fun. I hope we can explore many different styles and mediums (fancy for art supplies like paint, markers, clay) throughout our class. I studied at Averett University in VA and graduated with a BA in Fine Art and a minor in Art History. Before becoming a homeschool mom my 4 kiddos, I was a public high school art teacher. I'm looking forward to getting to know each of you :)
